OutsideDirectors.org is operated by Monoc Securities LLC. It provides free informational feedback and a free FOCI Board-Readiness Score™ on resumes for prospective Outside Directors and Proxy Holders, and optional paid services: a general resume rewrite, a board-opportunity-targeted rewrite tailored to a specific company, and an add-on board candidacy letter. Prices for each are shown before checkout. For a board-targeted rewrite or candidacy letter, we research the target company's own public website to build context that guides emphasis and language only. By using the service you agree to these terms.

AI-generated content

Your feedback — and any rewrite you purchase — is generated by artificial intelligence using review criteria developed by Monoc Securities LLC. It is not individually reviewed by a human. AI output can contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing any document before relying on or using it.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. By submitting a resume, you represent that you are 18 or older.

Your content, accuracy & license

You represent that the resume you submit is truthful and yours to share. You retain ownership of your resume. You grant Monoc Securities LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and transmit your resume and related information solely to provide the service — generating your feedback, producing any rewrite you purchase, and communicating with you about your review. Our rewrite preserves the factual content you provide and does not invent experience, credentials, or clearances; you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of any document before use.

Payments & refunds

Paid rewrites are processed by Stripe; we accept card payments only. Prices are shown before checkout. Because deliverables are custom-generated digital goods, all sales are final once generation of your rewrite begins, except where a refund is required by law or where we are unable to deliver your documents. If your deliverable is defective or does not arrive, contact paul.michaels@monoc.com and we will make it right.

Acceptable use

Do not submit content you lack the right to share, or use the service to violate any law or third-party right. We may rate-limit, suspend, or decline service to protect the platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Monoc Securities LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from claims, damages, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of your breach of these terms, your violation of law, or content you submit that infringes the rights of a third party.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OutsideDirectors.org is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law & venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall be brought exclusively in the state courts located in Loudoun County, Virginia, or the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
